Independent Studio Cwavesoft and Nexon America announced that their free-to-play, MOBA brawler Hyper Universe, which is also available on PC, has launched on Xbox One.

What does the player get on launch, I hear you ask? Well, for starters, 39 diverse characters are made available – of course, each with their own special combat skills and styles. Players are also invited to take on the battle with a choice of 2 maps. One of the maps is called Delta Station, a military outpost commanded by a powerful captain, and the other map affectionately named Dragon Refuge, a lush forest environment with a huge dragon hiding deep within the jungle.

Some additional features you will find in Hyper Universe is Spectate Mode, which allows you to keep your beady eye on the goings-on of other players, and Custom Match where you can hone your skills or practice with your friends

Nexon America explained in their announcement for the game’s release:

“As part of the official launch celebration event, from August 7 to September 10, 2018, players who play and win ten matches will receive an Xbox One exclusive Aurora’s Blade Skin for Allen. Also, daily and weekly missions will offer Hypers additional skin rewards, including a coupon to unlock almost any skin in the game.”

Players can purchase the Ultimate Hypers Pack for $19.99 on Xbox One. Valued at over $120, the deal includes instant access to all Hypers at launch, all future Hypers, and six Xbox-exclusive Hyper skins and unique equipment for Arslan, Athena, Blue Rose, Cain, Ignitia and Turner to show off on the battlefield.

Hyper Universe launched at the start of the year in January 17th on PC through Steam, which accompanied a new trailer revealing the celebrated announcement. For more on the game, you can look below for the newly-released character art and screenshots from Hyper Universe:
