The galaxy od Chinese game development is still quite obscure and difficult to navigate for westerners. Beyond the projects presented with much fanfare as part of Sony’s China Hero Project, there are more that are worth taking a look at.

The local branch of Sony Interactive Entertainment shared on its Weibo page a few more trailers of PS4 games that were presented at Chinajoy, which is great in the fact that it provides us with a window on many games that we’d otherwise overlook.

The first game you’ll see below is Dancing Beauty by Shanghai-based developer Newcome Entertainment. It’s a love and idol simulation coming in China in 2018 that focuses on following the career of a young idol, from dancing to dating. This one can be played both with PlayStation VR and without, just with your PS4.

The second is A.D. 2047 bu Chengdu-based developer Recano. It’s a VR “Interactive movie” for PlayStation VR and also coming to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. To be more specific, it’s a cyberpunk mystery investigation game that sees the player involved in tracking down a serial killer in a futuristic city.

The third game is Incredible Mandy by Dotoyou Games. The game isn’t just coming to PS4, a while ago we heard that it’s coming on Steam and Switch in late 2018 as well, and a demo is already available on Valve’s platform. It’s an adventure puzzle game in which the hero needs to brave the enemies within his dreams to save his sister.

You can check out all the trailers below, keeping in mind that western release info for the games featured here is still scarce.
