A little over two months after launch, Rare today released the first major content update for Sea of Thieves which is called The Hungering Deep.

The launch of The Hungering Deep coincides with Rare’s weekly developer update video series and as you may have guessed, today’s episode focuses entirely on the new add-on. Sea of Thieves Executive Producer Joe Neate talks about how excited he is in the video for players to finally discover all of the hidden nuggets of new content that have now been added to Sea of Thieves.

In addition to briefly discussing The Hungering Deep, Neate goes on to mention E3 2018 and the potential Sea of Thieves news that might come from the show. While there’s not much to go off of, Neate does confirm that the pirate adventure title will have a presence during E3 and that they’ll be teasing upcoming content updates that will be coming to Sea of Thieves in the future.

You can find the full video for the weekly Sea of Thieves update at the bottom of the page. If you’ve been playing Sea of Thieves today, how do you feel about The Hungering Deep so far?
