On Friday, 13AM Games shared a trailer announcing that their retro-style arcade game Pirate Pop Plus will be making its way onto Nintendo Switch on Thursday. With a game design very reminiscent of a Game Boy title, it was previously available for Steam, Wii U, and New Nintendo 3DS

In Pirate Pop Plus, you’ll join Pete Jr. on his quest to defeat the treacherous Bubble Pirate who has trapped the innocent nearby townspeople into bubbles. Using your anchor, you’ll have to dodge and pop the bubbles to save the day.

If you’re feeling confident in your piratey-ness, you can try playing in Hyper Mode for double the risk and reward. The coins that you earn are used in the game’s shop, and you can customize your in-game pocket cover with new faceplates, buttons, and backlights as seen in the trailer. You will also be able to unlock new characters to play with like Shynut and Dave.

You can check out the trailer below for some bubble popping action, and you can read DualShocker’s review of the game on Wii U.

Pirate Pop Plus will be available May 31st on Nintendo Switch, and if you buy the game before June 13th in the Nintendo eShop, you’ll get a 20% launch discount.
