A few days ago, we reported that The 2.5D cyberpunk horror game Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story developed by Suzaku and published by Top Hat Studios reached the stretch goal for a PS4 and PS Vita releases, and just moments ago, the $25,000 goal has been passed as well.
This means that on top of Sont’s home and portable consoles, the game is officially coming to Nintendo Switch, bringing with it its lovely art style and intriguing story.
Publisher Top Hat Studios also posted an update on the game’s official Kickstarter page announcing that they have reached a “tentative understanding” with EastAsiaSoft for the production of physical copies for PS Vita, which should get around Sony’s halt to the production of cartridges for the platform, despite the game’s estimated release window in May 2019.
The folks at Top Hat Studios also mention that they’re working on possible physical releases for other platforms (PS4 and Switch) as well. While they don’t foresee any issues with producing them, they’re still getting things worked out, and they’ll update backers as soon as they know more.
In the meanwhile, you can check out a mockup of the PS Vita cover just below, even if neither the design nor the M rating are finalized for now.
If you’re unfamiliar with Sense – 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story, it’s a 2.5D adventure game that mixes cyberpunk and horror, alongside Chinese traditions and folklore. The game also “happily embraces eroticism and fan-service” in its art and character designs” following inspirations like Ghost in the Shell creator Masamune Shirow and Dead or Alive character designer Chifumi Suzuki.
On top of its console versions mentioned above, the game will come for PC and Mac, and a demo is available here. If you want to contribute to the project yourself, you can do so on the official Kickstarter page.
