News, Originals, Platforms, Switch

Following the reveal in the latest trailer, Square Enix released a batch of screenshots of the upcoming JRPG Octopath Traveler.

We get to see more of the two characters revealed today, Cyrus and Ophilia, respectively a scholar from the Royal University in the Flatland region, and a cleric of the Order of the Sacred Flame in the Frostland region.

On top of that, we get to see more of the character-specific talents and of the ability to swap around characters in the party and check the progress of their personal stories in a dedicated menu.

You can check out all the screenshots and artwork below, and see if Ophilia or Cyrus fit your taste as the initial character you’ll choose, keeping in mind that you’ll still be able to recruit them all in a single playthrough.

If you want to see more about Octopath Traveler, you can also enjoy another recent trailer and a batch of screenshots showing the previous character revealed a little while ago: H’aanit the hunter and Therion the thief.

Octopath Traveler will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 13th, 2018. You can already pre-order the game on Amazon.
