SEGA announced Sonic Mania Adventures, an animated short series based on the characters from Sonic Mania, back at SXSW before releasing the series’ first episode at the end of March. Now, on the last day of April, they have released the second episode of the series.

This episode is titled Sonic Mania Adventures: Part 2 – Sonic and Tails, and as the title suggests, it follows the escapades of the titular duo as they investigate tremors being caused by Dr. Eggman. While there is no dialogue, expressive faces and funny slapstick get the simple story across wonderfully.

If you are more interested in the game this series is based on, you’ll be happy to hear that Sonic Mania Plus recently got a release date. This package will bring news modes and new playable characters to the game; its enhancement will also be available as DLC for those who already own Sonic Mania.

You can watch Sonic Mania Adventures: Part 2 – Sonic and Tails below. Sonic Mania is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with Sonic Mania Plus hitting those same platforms on July 17. You can currently pre-order it on Amazon.
