Originally released in 2014, This War of Mine from 11 bit studios was a noteworthy title for its unflinching look at life during wartime inspired by the Bosnian War, and now PC owners can get time with the game free for a limited time.
Developer 11 bit studios has announced that This War of Mine will be available for PC owners to play for free through Steam from now through April 8th, 2018. Specifically, this move is in preparation for the release of the studio’s upcoming Frostpunk, which will release near the end of the month, giving players a chance to experience some of the studio’s previous work ahead of the upcoming survival-city building game’s release.
Frostpunk was first announced back in 2016, and in that time 11 bit studios has given plenty of closer looks at the highly-anticipated title through new gameplay and more. Luckily though, with the game coming out on April 24th, 2018, there’s only a little bit of time left to prepare for the winter storm ahead that awaits players in the frozen city-building sim.
This War of Mine is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linus, iOS, and Android.
