DMM is keeping up with offering Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier players an almost uncharacteristic amount of top-tier units that don’t require dabbling into the gacha at all.
This week’s event comes with a “meganekko” teme, meaning that characters who normally don’t wear glasses, actually get to wear a pair for once.
Just playing the event quests allows you to drop an SSR power-type Misae Munakata pilot, and an SSR despair-type EF-2000 Typhoon. The latter is particularly significant (albeit much less cute), as it’s the first despair type TSF released outside of gacha.
For those who do like gacha, we also get a Hope-type SSR YF-23 Black Widow II PAV-2 “Grey Ghost” alongside two speed-type SSR characters, Tarisa Manandal from Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse and Irisdina Bernhard from Schwarzesmarken (who apparently stole her glasses from an adorable Gretel Jeckeln).
You can see them all below.
In other Muv-Luv news, the visual novels for PC have just been relaunched on Steam after over a month of absence due to a publisher change. If you want to read more about them, you can check out my review. You can also read Creator Koki Yoshimune’s comments on his wish to have international creators write their own Muv-Luv stories, to expand the series to new genres and platforms, and to launch future games simultaneously (or almost) worldwide.
Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
