DMM launched a new event in its free-to-play Muv-Luv game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier, and this time around it’s about White Day.

If you’re not familiar with White Day, it’s a Japanese celebration on March 14th in which men who received chocolate on Valentine’s Day give back with gifts.

While the tradition is a bit complex, with plenty of unwritten rules and pitfalls, often stemming from the nature of what you received on Valentine’s Day (was it “giri” chocolate from friends or colleagues, or “honmei” chocolate from a lady actually in love with you? This is the first question you’ll have to ask yourself, but there are plenty more that come afterward), Japanese games often celebrate in a much more straightforward way.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is no exception, and it comes with a new themed event. Simply by completing missions, you can drop or unlock an adorable SSR Yui Takamura and an F-15 ACTV Active Eagle TFS.

More SSR are available via Gacha, with Meiya Mitsurugi, Minori Shirakawa, and a themed F-22 Raptor.

In other Muv-Luv news, the visual novels for PC have just been relaunched on Steam after over a month of absence due to a publisher change. If you want to read more about them, you can check out my review.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
