Today Nintendo and Koei Tecmo released a brand new batch of screenshots and information for the first DLC pack coming to Fire Emblem Warriors, dedicated to Fire Emblem Fates.

First of all, three playable characters will be added, Azura, Oboro, and Niles. Azura can sing to buff her allies, Oboro can counter the enemies’ strongest attacks, and Niles can deliver devastating deathblows. Each will also get an exclusive weapon.

Three new story maps are also coming, alongside additional costumes for male Corrin, Female Corrin, Takumi, Camilla, and Azura.

The armor break feature will be added to Fire Emblem Fates‘ characters in the game. In the gallery, you get to see Hinata, Camilla, and Elise. Unsurprisingly, not much skin is shown but Camilla is the welcome exception.

We’ll also get additional weapon attributes, items and bonding chat events involving the new characters. The DLC will come on December 21st, alongside a new update numbered 1.3.

The update will be free, unlike the DLC which will cost 1,400 yen, and it’ll include a new rank for weapons “Hero,” an increase of the level cap to 110, a new weapon attribute, and a new blessing. Achieving S-rank in missions will also be easier.

If you want to learn more about the game, you can enjoy more info on the update released in November, and read our review.

Fire Emblem Warriors is currently available for Nintendo Switch and New 3DS.
