Nintendo Showcases Indie Games Coming to Switch in Latest Trailer

If you’ve been wondering what the future of indies looks like on Nintendo Switch, then wonder no more. Today Nintendo UK released a brand new trailer highlighting quite a fewe indie titles that will be coming to its latest console.

The trailer, which you can check out at the end of the article, showcases popular titles like SteamWorld Dig 2, Shu, World to the West, Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom, Rogue Troopers Redux, Flipping Death, Owlboy, State of Mind, Yoku’s Island Express, Constructor Plus, and Away Journey to the Unexpected, as well as lesser-known titles like Nine Parchments, Unbox Newbies Adventure, Uurnog, Flat Heroes, Hollow Knight, Battle Chasers Night War, Huntdown, Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition, and 8-bit Armies.

Yesterday Nintendo announced that it will be airing a special “Nindies” Showcase, which will, as the name suggests, will focus pretty much on the same categories of games, even if we don’t know whether there will be new ones or not. The livestream will air on Nintendo’s YouTube Channel and will start on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017, at 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. EDT). As of the time of this writing, it’s unknown how long the presentation will last.

Each of these titles are scheduled to be released sometime between September 2017, and early 2018.
