Media Create: ARMS Debuts at the Top of This Week’s Japanese Sales Charts

2DS, 3DS, Arms, Monster Hunter XX, News, Originals, Platforms, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, Switch, Tekken 7, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Wii U, Xbox One, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

Today, Media Create released its weekly sales chart of the Japanese video game market.

For the week between June 12th and June 18th, it’s one Nintendo Switch game replacing another: with the newly released IP, ARMS, knocking back down Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to the No.2 spot. Interestingly, Nintendo pulled off the trifecta in the newest charts: finishing 1,2, and 3 (with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild grabbing No. 3).

As for the good ol’ hardware charts, I’ll give you one guess….it’s the Switch, again. As it has done every week since its launch, Nintendo’s newest hybrid console is once again holding off the PS4 for the gold trophy spot.

Beyond ARMS, there are no new additions to this week’s Top 20.

Below, you can view the full software chart:
